One-Wall
All appliances, cabinets, and fixtures are on a single wall in this style, popular in lofts and studios.

Also known as G-Shape, this layout adds an extra partial wall to a U- or L-shaped kitchen.

How are you different from other Manassas kitchen remodelers?

Many companies offer a one to two year warranty on remodeling projects. Unlike our competitors, Hambleton Construction offers a 4-year, unmatched, industry warranty.

With an office right in Manassas, we’re local to the area and have partnerships with local businesses, major supply houses, and showrooms. Over the years, we’ve established great connections with suppliers, product specialists, and designers, in order to help you through every step of your project.

What do you like about doing remodeling in Manassas?

There are many different types of people and homes in Manassas. Although it’s an older neighborhood, there have been a lot of new developments constructed over the last 15 to 20 years. That being said, many people are now finishing off their basements or areas of their houses that were never finished during the initial construction.

We also see a lot of older homes that have been neglected over the years. Many of these current homeowners, however, are constantly working to update and upgrade these homes.

Whether it be an old or new home, we love talking with people, seeing what challenges they face and helping solve those problems for them.

Manassas itself also has a great community of people. We often do business with many people we know through schools, family, or the local baseball park. We love giving back to our friends and neighbors that we interact with regularly, either at church or just in the neighborhood.

Frequently Asked Questions for Manassas Kitchen Remodelers:

Do you put flooring under kitchen cabinets?

Yes. In most cases, it is a good idea to extend the flooring all the way under the cabinet. This way, especially with appliances, everything will be nice and level.

How can I redo my kitchen countertops?

Redoing kitchen countertops is an easy way to upgrade the look of a kitchen. There are many different types of countertops available, the most popular being granite or faux granite surfaces.

Our local suppliers have countless styles of granite and stone available. We recommend meeting them to discuss the design of your countertops and the textures and finishes you’re looking for.

How do I rebuild my kitchen cabinets?

There are several different options for redoing kitchen cabinets.

  1. Painting
  2. Refacing or replacing the doors
  3. Full cabinet replacement.

At Hambleton Construction, we specialize in full cabinet replacements. We have great partnerships with local vendors, to help give you exactly what you’re looking for.

How long should it take to remodel a kitchen?

The average kitchen remodel can last anywhere from 3 to 6 weeks, depending on the design and scope of the project. This will depend on how many cabinets there are, how big it is, whether we’re moving the sink, stove, or dishwasher, or if everything is staying in place.

Hambleton Construction Services

The Hambleton Story

Brothers David and Thomas Hambleton grew up in Falls Church, Virginia.

Their first experience in construction was in 1998, when as teenagers, they helped their parents put a second story addition onto the family home.

David and Thomas assisted with the framing, and handled all the interior trim and finishes. David discovered a deep appreciation and respect for wood, and began his career as a carpenter.

Soon afterward, David started work with a remodeling firm in Arlington, Virginia. After two years as a carpenter, he was promoted to supervisor, and completed many custom, large-scale remodeling projects.

In 2005, David and Thomas decided to go into business for themselves, and founded Hambleton Construction.
